What data does the app use? Does it leave my computer?
The app only uses names of the files and folders of the selected folder. This information is shared privately with OpenAI but is not used for model training. No other information leaves your computer. -
How many calls does it make to OpenAI? Will I get charged a lot?
For every sort operation, one API call is made, up to 3 calls for folders with many files. This costs approximately 0.5-1 cent per call. Auto Sort makes a call whenever new files are detected. -
How does Autosort work?
When enabled, the feature checks for new files every 60 seconds. If new files are detected, it automatically sorts them into appropriate subfolders or creates new folders if needed.
