What is LetterGrid?
LetterGrid is a multiplayer turn-based word game that challenges players to use vocabulary and strategy to win against opponents. The game combines elements of word search and territory control, where players use letters on a board to form words and claim tiles. Just like in Chess, players must think ahead and plan their moves strategically to outmaneuver their opponent.
The game offers two main game types: Invasion, where players build a chain of words from their border to the opponent's border, and Territory, where players aim to occupy a set number of tiles before their opponent. Players can steal tiles, cut off opponents, and expand their territory to achieve victory. With features like interactive tutorials, play against AI or other people, a player rating system, leaderboards, and extensive statistics, LetterGrid provides a comprehensive competitive experience. It supports 11 languages and includes automatic word validation, definitions, and a built-in chat for communication.
