What is Staffjoy?
Staffjoy offers open-source workforce scheduling applications designed to streamline shift management for businesses. The platform includes two main applications: Suite, which provides algorithm-based scheduling capable of managing hundreds of workers and reducing labor costs, and V2, which enables quick schedule creation and team notifications via text messages for small teams in service and retail industries.
Originally founded in 2015 based on scheduling research, Staffjoy participated in Y Combinator's fellowship program and raised venture funding before shutting down in 2017. The company has since open-sourced its code under MIT licenses, making the scheduling tools available for implementation and customization.
