What is tirreno?

Tirreno provides a comprehensive security framework designed to understand, monitor, and protect products from various threats, fraud, and abuse. FAQs

  • Is tirreno GDPR compliant?
Cybersecurity is a legal basis for processing data under the GDPR. When the tirreno system is used for cyber threats and abuse detection, user consent is generally not required in most cases. However, any use outside of threats detection must comply with GDPR user consent rules. Additionally, your legal team should determine whether any user notification is required.
  • Where should tirreno be installed to function effectively?
tirreno works best if the server-side code is installed and runs for every logged-in user event on every page of your application.
  • Why is server-side event collection preferred over browser-based methods?
Only server-side event collection is reliable because browser data can't be trusted due to potential vulnerabilities like client-side manipulation. The whole process remains invisible to the user.
