Is CharityStack really free?
Yes – the Starter plan is free forever with no credit card required. You only encounter a platform fee when a donor voluntarily chooses to cover it. -
How is CharityStack different from Zeffy or Givebutter?
CharityStack does not use pressure tactics like pre-checked tips or guilt-framed screens. Donors simply choose whether to cover fees, and the optional add-extra slider (100% to you) is easy to skip. Donations, donor data, and marketing live in one platform. -
What happens if a donor doesn't cover the fee?
Under the Covered Commitment (on by default), CharityStack covers the fee so you keep the full donation. If you opt out for a lower fee, the fee comes out of that donation. -
Do you charge per contact or per email?
No – unlimited contacts on every plan including free, and unlimited unmetered email sends on marketing plans. Your list can grow without changing your price.
