WLPPR
Original collection of the most interesting places of our planet

What is WLPPR?

WLPPR provides users with access to an original collection of wallpapers showcasing the most interesting places on our planet. The platform features high-resolution images from various sources including NASA, ESA, Google, USGS, and other geographical organizations, offering a visual journey through remarkable landscapes like the Namib Desert, Yellow Sea swirls, and Icelandic terrain.

Although the project has announced its closure after serving over 1 million users from 2015 to 2021, current users can still access all collections for free through the app. The platform promises to return in a new form while maintaining availability of its original collection via browser access, with donation options available to support the project's evolution.
