Okmeter agents are installed on physical and virtual servers, with each server billed as a full unit regardless of virtualization. Containers are monitored from the host server and don't increase the billing. -
Does Okmeter work with AWS EC2 Auto Scaling environments?
Yes, Okmeter works with AWS EC2 Auto Scaling when agents are installed into images or via startup/cloud-init scripts. Billing uses the 95% burstable method, ignoring 5% of the time with maximum hosts each month. -
Is there an on-premises option for regulated environments?
Yes, Okmeter offers managed on-prem installations for restricted environments where data cannot leave premises. The Okmeter team deploys and manages private servers on customer-provided infrastructure or AWS sub-accounts.
