What is TextMan?
TextMan is a utility designed to overcome the frustration of unselectable text across various digital formats. Users can simply draw a rectangle over any area on their screen, similar to taking a screenshot. The tool then employs Optical Character Recognition (OCR) technology to identify and extract the text within that selected region. This extracted text is automatically placed into the user's clipboard, ready for immediate pasting into any application or text field.
TextMan performs all text recognition processing locally on the user's device, ensuring privacy as no data is shared or tracked externally. It supports text recognition in multiple languages, including English, French, Italian, German, Spanish, Portuguese, and both simplified and traditional Chinese.
