Purpose
Keep the automation kit aligned with upstream changes using merge protocol.
Steps
- Read
.agent-docs/memory/KIT_VERSION.mdto capture current version. - Compare to upstream release or commit.
- If updates exist, apply
non_destructive_bootstrapto refresh templates. - Run
skills_auditorandskills_syncfor skill alignment. - Refresh
.agent-docs/memory/INDEX.mdandINDEX.json. - Record actions and evidence in the Action Log.
- Update
KIT_VERSION.mdwith the new version details. - Use the update kit checklist for completeness.
Guardrails
- Never overwrite user-owned content; use merge protocol markers.
- Preserve fixed agents and local overrides.
