Always use uv - faster and more reliable than pip/poetry.

Commands

# Run scripts - ALWAYS use uv run
uv run python script.py
uv run pytest

# Dependencies
uv add numpy
uv sync

Rules

  1. Never python script.py - always uv run python script.py
  2. Never pip install - always uv add or uv sync
