RALPH-PLAN - Strategic Implementation Planning
Decompose PRD user stories into detailed, ordered implementation subtasks.

Planning Process
Step 1: Load Context
Read all relevant context:
- PRD - User stories and acceptance criteria
- PROJECT_SPEC.md - Tech stack, patterns, conventions
- CLAUDE.md - Project-specific rules
- Memory - Past implementations and learnings

Step 2: Analyze Each Story
For each incomplete story, determine:
- Scope - What files need to change?
- Dependencies - What must exist first?
- Complexity - How many subtasks needed?
- Risks - What could go wrong?
Step 3: Decompose Into Subtasks
Break each story into atomic subtasks:
Subtask Guidelines:
- ONE clear outcome per subtask
- 15-30 minutes of work each
- Clear file scope (which files to modify/create)
- Testable acceptance criteria
- Explicit dependencies

Step 4: Build Dependency Graph
Map which subtasks can run in parallel vs sequentially:
US-001 Subtasks:

Parallel: ST-001-1 and ST-001-2 (no dependencies) Sequential: ST-001-3 depends on both 1 and 2
Step 5: Identify Risks
For each story, note:

Step 6: Clarify Ambiguities
CRITICAL: If anything is unclear, use AskUserQuestion:
? The PRD mentions "secure password storage" but doesn't specify the algorithm.

- THINK dependencies - Order subtasks correctly
- KEEP atomic - One clear outcome per subtask
- LOG insights - Save planning learnings to memory
